Today I mark as the beginning of my trip across Canada. After many weeks of gear purchases and talking about routes over beer I am now sitting on the ferry with Jen Murdoch.
Last night was first a relaxing evening at Clives, followed by a frantic packing party.
This morning I got out to Mile 0 to find a large crowd of friends to see me off. It was glorious, very much encouraging and a fantastic way to begin. After some champagne and a short speech (hehe) I led a pack of cyclists who were joining for part of the ride to the ferry.
That is all for now.

Please take care!
Of course!
You’ve got great friends! I wish so so much good things for you – blessings, safety, optimism, quiet moments, exhilaration, the right amount of exhaustion, etc.
I’ll be a faithful follower. Wish I could join you too… speaking of, can I skype with you while your riding?
God bless.
Thanks for your support friend!
I could Skype in Summerland probably. I’ll let you know.
I’m so proud of you Robby! I’ll echo others and say be careful! Can’t wait to see you in Toronto!
I was glad to be part of your send off. I will be following the blog. Hopefully it will inspire more people to adventure. Looking forward to epic stories.
